Today, we have started learning literary devices. Literary devices are common structures used in writing. These devices can be either literary elements or literary techniques. We have been divided into groups to interpret which phrases or lines form poems are using which literary devices.
(Well - short and sweet, I guess :) It was a short week because we had the in-class essay for two days).

CONNECTOR ROLE - by Kenny
Today, Mr. Sultan taught us about literary devices. We can understand others' feelings and emotions by using theseliterary devices. Besides, when we use literary devices to deconstruct literature, they help us to understand people better. Literary device would be a useful skill that may be used in our life, including university.
(MR Sultan: I would like you all to contemplate as to how these lenses help you UNDERSTAND people better. Think about some of my examples in class, or other examples you may personally have in your mind that relate to your world and life).
